Learn real software engineering while studying African history, identity and Pan-African thought.

TECHNOLOGY × AFRICAN CONSCIOUSNESS
AiCE Community combines rigorous software engineering education with African history, identity and Pan-African thought — preparing a new generation to build technology with skill, purpose and consciousness.

AiCE — African Institute for Computing Excellence — is a Pan-African technology ecosystem. We believe Africa does not lack talent; it lacks systems. So we build the systems: structured courses, automatic grading, real projects, and a community that holds engineers to African standards of excellence.
Every engineer we train is taught two things at once: how to build world-class software, and why it must be built for Africa — from a deep, proud understanding of our history.
— The Foundation Course —
FreeThis is the doorway into everything AiCE offers, and the prerequisite for every other program on the platform — completely free. It is a two-in-one course: engineering foundations plus African consciousness — designed to produce engineers who can solve Africa’s problems and choose to.

Students build a real engineer’s toolkit from the ground up — comfortable in a Linux terminal, versioning their work with Git, writing Python and JavaScript, and querying databases with MySQL. Every concept is taught through hands-on projects.

Hands-on, project-driven, graded by the system.

Students study how Africa was great before the invasion of the Arabs and Europeans, and the heroes of Africanism — Nkrumah, Awolowo, Azikiwe, Lumumba, Kenyatta, Mandela — their political ideologies and their visions for Africa.

Engineers who are historically conscious, culturally grounded, socially responsible.

Score at least 60% across your assessments to earn both certificates

A structured learning loop — every step is tracked and graded by the system.
Each course runs on a structured calendar of units; every unit has a clear title, description and duration.
Video lessons, PDF documents and curated links, per unit, with required ones flagged.
Every unit's quiz is auto-marked with instant score + pass/fail and a unit-level pass threshold (default 60%).
Hands-on work auto-graded too: GitHub repositories/commits for coding, real community posts for engagement.
Some practicals are completed in the feed (post, get engagement); peers and mentors are one message away.
Finish your cohort, average 60% or better, and the platform issues your certificate automatically.
Everything is graded by the system — no waiting on manual reviews, no silent gaps in your progress.
AiCE-SEF is the prerequisite for every other program. Pick a direction after the foundation — all listed live from the platform catalog.
— Live, every day —
Learning at AiCE happens inside a real community. Students share posts, images, videos and links; react, comment, repost and follow; and because the feed is part of the curriculum, community engagement is actually graded.

Post, react, comment, repost. Hashtags, images, video and link previews. Your engagement practicals are checked right here.

A profile for every engineer: about, certificates, followers and following. Follow mentors and peers with one click.

Real-time 1-to-1 chat — instant delivery, unread badges on the tab, and browser notifications when you're away.
